Description

BiTBUDDY is a 3U or 1U format expander DIY kit for use with the Music Thing Modular Turing Machine.

The modules connect to either the Gates or Pulses expander headers on the back of the Turing Machine and breaks out the signals into triggers or gates. BiTBUDDY adds an extra level of flexibility to the Turing Machine by allowing for each step to be sent individually around your rack, this works great patching to DC mixers, envelopes, triggers, VCAs and more!

BiTBUDDY can be used alongside the other Turing expanders, and also features a dedicated clock output which passes through the signal from the Turing Machine clock input – very useful for syncing up other modules.

These kits contains some SMD parts and as such they’re ideal kits for learning SMD soldering!
