NYX excels in producing richly harmonic sounds, due to its complex Routing, the Three Modulators, the Dual Filters, the Analog Oscillators and the Reverb, that provide additional movement to the sound and drastically affect its timbre.

NYX can operate as a standalone desktop synth or as a 42HP Eurorack module.
