Description
Touch 2 is an instrument designed for tactile interaction and hands-on control. It can be a thick bass, distorting string, delay, reverb, distortion and pretty much anything in between. Upload different instruments through USB and play! Swappable faceplates (four included) and 12 touch pads make it a tactile performance instrument.
Running the Daisy Seed microcontroller, Touch 2 sounds AMAZING no matter what instrument you flash on it. And, it’s programmable, so you can design your own instrument using C++, Arduino, Max or Puredata.
The Synthux community is constantly releasing new Touch instruments. Simply upload the firmware through USB and you have a completely new instrument in your hand! Using the Swappable faceplates you can distinguish between the instruments, and even design your own faceplate.
Currently available open source instruments are:
- TOUCH STRING
Plunk and bang on metal, plastic and wood. Add distortion and modulation - TOUCH LOOPER
Sample, loop, mix, stretch and manipulate recordings in real time - TOUCH FX
Process your guitar, voice or synth with wobbly delay, chorus, reverb and various distortions - TOUCH BASS
Play thick basses, leads and pads, mess around with AM and a generative melody maker
