Description
The 3394 voice is a compact and versatile analog synth voice which can also be used as a separate VCO, VCA, VCF or noise source. The VCO section features Square, Saw and Triangle wave options, and the VCF is a juicy 24db low-pass type with dedicated resonance control. Pushing the resonance knob close to maximum will allow the filter to self-resonate, which will track a few octaves as well.
The 3394 voice features 2 x built-in envelopes, one for the filter modulation and and one for the amplitude. The Amplitude envelope can be switched between either Attack/Decay or Attack/Release. When nothing is plugged into the gate input, the module will behave like a regular VCO with a constant output signal, and with the mix trimmer you can increase the tonal range by adding in either a square sub, noise generator or external input signal. When using short envelopes the module excels at synthesising percussive zaps, snares and kicks drums.
