Description

The SDSV+ is a Eurorack Drum Voice based on SyntherJack’s SDSV project which in turn is based on the legendary Simmons SDS5/SDSV drum machine. The SDSV+ can be used for anything from toms, snares, kicks and even hat/crash-like sounds as well as FM style clangs and klonks. This Timo Rozendal version takes the original sounds shaping controls and extends them more modulation and CV control compared to any design that came before!

Notable changes from Syntherjack’s version include:

• Envelope selection for the VCO and separate Decay pots
• Option to use unfiltered noise for click (and the option to turn click off altogether)
• Redesigned one of the envelopes to make it independent of input trigger length.
• More CV inputs
• Noise level control
• (Pre-soldered) SMD components, single PCB, no wiring required.
